A Mechanical Engineer from University of Madras and worked as tool room engineer for 2 years. He has a vast exposure in design and manufacturing sector for 10 years. Presently, owning a construction company which builds residential houses. His passion lies in non-renewable energy sources and aspires to launch solar energy products for the benefit of the mankind.

The product deploys combination of technologies FPC (Flat Plate Collector), EVB (Evacuated Vacuum Box) and CSP (Concentrated Solar Power) to bring down the cost of the existing appliances by 50%. The spin of the technology would result in appliance like water heaters, solar cookers & others. Thanigai has been in the business for more than 5 years in construction industry. Bioremediation is process to remediate pollute land or water using living organisms. Microbes developed are introduced in the soil for cleaning up the toxic substances present in the soil. Remediation is done specific to effluent, site, and ecosystem. The project would require a capital expense of 11.22 lakhs.

Rajakumar by profession is a junior technical assistant in the Department of Handlooms (Tamil Nadu, Government of India). He has around 27 years of manufacturing experience in textile industry. His interest lies in designing & making garments. He had also been one the key member who was responsible of development of ancient Indian fabric named “Kutni”.

Manufacture as special handloom fabric called KUTNI fabric made out of natural vegetable dyed, vegetarian silk and cotton yarns. The product has extensive usage in dress materials and home furnishings with huge market potential in national and international markets. The project would require a funding of Rs 10 lakhs.

Rakesh had also been a part of Technology Entrepreneurship Training Program conducted by VITTBI which sow the seeds of entrepreneurship as they are students

Krishna Reddy is final year B.Tech Bio-Technology student of VIT University whose has been a technocrat from his early years a co partner in the business “Energy & Health Drinks for Diabetics”. Krishna to had been a part of Technology Entrepreneurship Training Program conducted by VITTBI which paved the way to carry out their product development activities and pilot testing activities.

The product is targeted at diabetic people as most of the fruit based drinks have sugar levels that makes them unfit for consumption. The idea is to develop an effervescent formulation that yields fruit juice enriched with vitamins and minerals adding zero calories. The product tends to serve a niche customer segment as there is no unique product catering their needs.
